I remember back when i still didnt know that 3rd party units could be added to the game, at that point i had played TA since 1998 and it was currently 2003. Once i tripped into the ta fansite while i was looking for reviews of TA that supported my oppinion that TA pwn3s starcraft, and there it was. *those glimzy anime eyes* at the most downloaded nr 1: karganeth, i was in love. But ofcourse i was far to stupid to realize that i had to patch the game before i added units, but i figured it out: then i added many, many 3rd party units. And many of them was korgoth look alikes, and they all stinked, no balance and no style, then i remembred that good looking hunk a junk on ta fansite, i added it and after 2 hours building it it was done. Ohhh, i remember tha sound, unique and awesome, i ordered it and some other megaunits of mine to attack, it was on the map "over crude water" the bertha's started to fire and one after one they where blown up, then i shifted focus to the extra expencive and cool lookin mech, and my eyes popped out, it was nearly at 100% and then another big bertha shell hit it, it didnt even put a dent in it, then it marched off and started to fire, oh the sounds, that metalic sound from the main gun, and the spread gun, many many exlosions sure to follow hehe, it wiped the whole base clean, with 80% health to spare and 300 kills, and worst thing is, its balanced. cause you are wery lucky if you ever manage to build one. anyboot, i tried to add the wonder to spring, but its torso is floating in mid air, and when it fires its main gun, the explosions appear at its feat, digging it into the ground, after 5 seks it was head deep into the ground. could someone plz plz fix the model and weapons, I and im sure many others need it... baldy, the AA one is a shame, misslies from the guns? and its tiny, the original karganeth could talke 2 orcones at once or 5 krogoths.
donno if anyone is willing to do this, but surley someone has to much time to spend, so i guess its worth a shot to ask :D

well, the shields are possible for the orcone now, that way it can have an enorumus energy cost and a smaller energy cost with a reason, give the orcone a shield that can withstand 10-15 bertha shells, and armour to tackle 20, and give the karganeth no shields, but is able to withstand 50 +, like in the owl days, the pro with the orcone is that it wont be damaged cause it has a shield, while the karganeth does, though all in all it cant withstand that much punishment.
as long as the anti matter cannons and spray gun works... those weapons where poetry in pixels i swear.
but i donno, is it possible to do a mobile shield?
(and designers would apreciate the challenge of redesiging the karganeth so that it looks a bit... buffer form ground level... i know i would, im a drawer)

ah ha, ..... well, you go on ahead and play 10 minute matches where you aim on finishing your opponent with a flash rush 10 mins into the game, i prefer to let it drag out into the wee hours of the night and bring in the big units, and trust me, when playing aginst a human opponent in ota, nothing gave you the scare quite as good as hearing that missile impact near your preasious punisher/gaat gun/dragons teeth line.... allways made me go "oooh fakk"
and it was also wonderfull times to hear my friend say : gad damidt you beat me to it when i rushed my karganeth in with a dozen radar jammers and farks... hehe

far from it, the late games that i played was allways shadow strikes, stabs at the defence line ect, usaly what i did was to attack with a large force consisting of goliaths can's pyro's flakkers ect, hammering at his weakest line of defence, then just as i recon he's busiy repairing and bulding backup, i send in my hidden strikeforce of one karg, jammers some farks and flakkers to prevent gunship spamming, bam right into the hearth of his defence, it was allways a gamble tho, cause sometimes it was so late game that he was on to me, but sometimes i was ready so early that he thought that i was not ready with the karg... but i was hehe. and vice verca for him, we was wery predictable that way, so each time i changed tactices i won, and same goes for him. but the clue allways was: get a karg/orcone x2 up, support them well, prefrable with equaly slow and though units.. like goliaths and flakkers and bam, rape his defences
