They do. They're actually somewhat suprised and a little honoured if you want to know. If I can find it, I'll post the link to the revelant interview. I think it's at supcomuniverse

SupComU: Have you had a look at the Spring project at all? If so, what do you think of it? The SY team has implemented innovations into their interface never seen in an RTS before either.

CT: I think that project is extraordinary, and we talked about it a lot over the years. That team is going to have a lot of fun modding SUPCOM.

I think they'll be a bit dissapointed when we dont up sticks and move to their forums and start modding for them and remain here instead.

I think he actually meant both. After all, there are still people modding OTA even with Spring around...

Thats because there's a divide where there are machines not fast enought o run spring but fast enought o run OTA. Those people have a use for OTA content.

However anyone who can run supcom can run spring. It's just that anyone who can run windows 98+ can run OTA.

oh man OTA runs sweet on my new computer... it still randomly freezes up my computer though... well not really randomly... pretty consistently on any game lasting more then an hour or so... it's so funny that we have learned to accept games taking 2 hours to play.
