Okay so I've updated Wadi a bit, and decided to throw in an extra map too.

Changes in Wadi-v2:
* Changed metal patch brightness
* Nerfed wind, tidal and solar is now your best bet
* Lowered metal concentration slightly
* New start positions

seems nice, but mappacks are bad in my experience. it leads to alot of OMG GIF LINK 2 MAP PLX. Simply because the exact mapname isnt in the maplist.
Also, what program are you using to make the texturemap?

wow, cheesecan I love the work you are doing lately, very clean and colorfull stuff. IF I do a layout would you consider taking a request?

True, hopefully the minimap with both maps side-by-side on it will clarify things. It's rendered with Bryce, and touched up with Photoshop.

How do you do your materials to get the layered effect? I get some nice textures, but ive been trying to get layers but no dice.

The only real issue with map packs happen to be where certain people re-release different versions of the pack without changing the name of the pack or the contents thereof. Then we get horrid sync errors because people have different versions, and nice graphical errors like reversed or missing texture start to crop up...

That is of course a problem, but for mre the greatest downside is when i want to play Vegan canyons (hot sex mapifyed) i have to tell everyone specifically that its in canyons trio. Because "vegan canyons" isnt in the list.

That is a good point comp. Naming it the canyon trio and having the names listed after it was the best solution I could come up with.
