Just a small thing, noticed the mininukes from the Liche don't seem to deform the terrain at all, just looks a bit odd :P

is that due to the AOE being rather small and the large deformation from a powerful exposion would look a little weird?

The AoE isn't that small, but i mean there is ZERO terrain deformation when the weapon hits :P

Just played a mad game on a really soft map, the whole thing ended up like a nuclear testing ground, but when someonje send a few waves of liches, not a single one did any terrain damage.

You mean the way that the advanced bombs magically guide themselves into a straight line most of the time, even though I've specifically scripted and modeled that unit to drop them in a dispersion pattern? Yeah, that shouldn't happen.

I'd complain about it, except that AA's the only mod with a unit like this, and there's only two of them... so maybe sometime in the future I'll see if it's possible to get fixed.

Anybody else hate the concept of these shields? If you want to counter Berthas you should have to bomb them or counter them with berthas. This just adds another gimmicky layer of complexity. Feels very overcooked.

They're a replacement for bertha walls which don't work well in Spring.

About anti-nukes, it's possible scarab antinukes have a problem... I'll check them.

Dude, as I explained to you in-game: two Berthas drop one fast, three drop them in no time at all.

It is also highly vulnerable to all the usual suspects, for instance bombing. And don't forget that it explodes like a nuke, or at least it explodes pretty big last I checked.

Isnt the damage taken the factor that takes them down? In that case PWs would suck at taking them down..

Actaully, I meant it that peewees are cheap, SPammable and easy to swarm with. Shields try to block it, but they fire so fast the shield gets worn down prewtty fast.

As do LLTs, HLTs, HLLTs, Beamers, Pitbulls, and, in fact, anything more threatening than a Goomba.

i once saw a single AK destroy:

3 solars
3 mexxes
1 KBotlab
2 peewees
and do 200 damage on a comm

(ok, the comm did more damage using the DGun than the AK, but whatever :P)

It was 2 ak's but one died to commlazer right away, the other one ran in circles around stuff and took out the guy's whole base. Lesson learned: LLT's are nessicary.

Goombas!

Umm... ok, not sure if this is what he meant exactly, but a peewee does 106 damage per second, compared with a bertha's 170ish. So yes, 10 or so of these all shooting at the shield would have it down in no time flat.

Though they'd also be much more vulnerable to counter-fire from anything sitting behind the shield. Like, say, an HLT. So in practice, it's not usually an effective counter.
