This Map is unplayable.

Till my Units reach the other Side of this Map - a new Spring Version will be out.

if you don't like big maps then don't play them :D but EE needs large maps.

Was not meant offensive. Just had problems with my dropping jaw hitting the Keyboard... brain is back to normal. Man.. wish i could do so big maps. But Mapconv doesn`t accpet my files on the wrack i can call own. And my Con is also to slow to even think about uploading such a Monster Map...

I got to get out of this thread before i write nonsense out of jeaulousy again...

lol it took me three days to produce these 2

I hate making big maps cause I can't even do after market photoshop editing which really sucks.

Mapconv onlt accepts files that are under 600 meg, so if the texture is over 600 then format it to jpg on highest quality.

As far as I know, the same sizes, the only thing gained by using a .jpg is getting around mapconv`s file size limit.

technically a 58x58 map should be possible

you should know that jpg file format caps out at 30000 pixels square root.

What I maen by that is your image could be a rectangle that is longer than 30000, but as long as the square root of the image dimentions is below 30000 pixels it will save. Wow. That probably only made sense to me.

wait, do you mean 30,000 or 300,000?

so hmmm

whats the max on a bmp??? (lol i know something bigger than 30000 would be like a whole lotta gigs, but with a HD big enough and enough ram it could be possible.

Well, i was asking about the BMP file, cause like, say you want to go BIGGER than 30000, but JPG won't go bigger, so you do a format like oh, BMP. Yes, BMP would be MASSIVE without compression, but the point is breaking that 30000 barrier. How big would it be?

it doesn't matter quanto. Mapconv cannot accept any file over 600 megs. 30000 is a 60x60 btw.

There is also the issue that even a 128 meg image with several layers = 3-6 gig photoshop image.
