If you load in units and drive over a steep mountain with the core armed heavy transport in AA2.1 the units that are inside it are gone. In this case I tried to move vehicles in the transporter over a steep mountain. It simply never gives back the units. If I move over a hill then the transporter does indeed give it back.
I think this aint a mod bug, but a game dynamics bug, so thats why I posted it here.

I've found that transports in general are kinda buggy. I was using the transport boat in small supreme battlefield and I always had to give the area-unload order 5 or 6 times before it would actually work. Otherwise I'd get a mess of "can't get there"complaints and the transport boat would just sit uselessly. While hte "unload/wait" functionality is nice, it shouldn't be mandatory - but currently it is, because you have such a tiny spot to drop units into that will actually work and units don't intelligently clear the landing zone when something is trying to unload on the same spot.Caydr wrote:Hmm... well, the amph transport is capable of moving on the same slopes as a kbot, since it's amphibious and needs to climb steep shorelines.
Try picking up kbots instead, see what happens, and report back. It might be helpful in diagnosing the problem.

Hmm, the strange thing is, when I move my transport back to my base I can unload the truck. It seems that there is some map feature that prevents my units to unload. In this case I tried it for riverdale, the bottom left, just over the mountain and below is such a region where I cannot unload units. This is the case for all types of units.
