not necessary, just replace the .dll.
the other files it writes is just logs and metal maps anyway and the metal class hasnt changed.

Woot, i've had absolutely no crashes with the new version!

Although it seems more docile, it jut stacks insane amounts of units at it's base.

did a 6 KAI free for all on altored divide and apart from the inevitable 'ooops we built a vehicle factory on top of a high place and now they can't get out' syndrome it was flawless. bombers layed the smackdown at the end nicely

I had a 140+ minute game, 3 KAI duking it out, no crashes or other errors. They need to build nukes and a bigger airforce to be anywhere near as tough as they should be. My nuke bombers made short work of them:D

just did a pair of FFA 10 KAI's on craggy hills and the supreme commander map - it crashed towards the end, but nearly got all the way through.

balance tips (to be ignored) - build some AA!!



edit: i wasn't watching when it crashed, i'd walked off :oops:
it just closed spring altogether when it did crash and dumped me back to springsp

ANY gameplay/performance related suggestions or bug reports will be utterly ignored

you guys are wasting your time.. honest!
Can you give more info on the crash, mod, and any possible things the AI was doing to trigger it?

good job with the new version. seems that the crashes are all gone.

you should listen to the gameplay of it as well as the bug issues or at least create a thread for the gameplay part. just because an ai is bugfree doesn't mean it'll play well.

this has nothing to do with the issue.
At NO point did i ever claim it played well (if i did please find it for me so i can edit it?). If you took the time to read the first post youd see I said im busy with a million things to add first and am and have been aware of every single gameplay issue mentioned here, ingame and in the lobby so far here and furthermore there are dozens of features to be added before even considering tweaking gameplay...

Once the final complete version is released then ill be all ears for all gameplay issues in the intent of making it play as challenging as possible. I appreciate the willingness to help, i really do but now is just not the time, please stop posting gameplay issues. Make a new thread if you really want to.

can you make it make crash logs? After every game i play, i go check the folders and they are empty.

i know you said that you're not concentrating on gameplay and i just wanted to let you know that whatever you did, it seems to be working now without crashing. i just wanted to make a quick suggestion. keep up the good work. i really like where this ai is going.

KAI 0.11 crash while 0.10 does not.

well i just want to report a crash with kai 0.11 .

condition : seem it appears after 20-30 mins of playing time
mods used : XTA bundled with 0.72 & AA 2.0
maps tested : battle range, mars, all the delta siege (the bundle pack that contain three maps).

hope it can help, if there is anything that i can do to get logs or ai exceptions please pm me, i will be glad to activate needed options to do that.

I just stopped by to say i like it, very much! esspecially (said before) for a first release version! And it's small and simple, yet strong in forces anyway.

Work on it more and more and make it a AI killer :P

i like to watch AI games :twisted: killin each other :shock:

It came close to kicking my ass at E&E (Deltasiege)! Very impressive AI! No problems unrelated to gameplay!

When will you start working on gameplay issues? Could you give us a rough estimate?

Im working on gameplay issues as well as stability/speed all the time. Just yesterday i added basic metal map support for example.
As the versions come out youll see its gameplay improve, and once the huge list of things to do comes to an end, then you guys can suggest all you want about the gameplay issues remaining. Basically we are working on economy and group micro behaviour atm.
