Metal baseplate decals - V1 released!

This replaces the decals used under the factories in AA with metal ones. Doesn't cause desynchs

props to Noize for helping get it releasable!

how can transparency help to make them less ugly?

getting rid of the square edges, allowing them to fit the factories better. am i not using the correct lingo? alpha channel?

edit: here's a proof of concept

not being able to get rid of the corners bothers me as they look a bit silly. the white is me attempting to add transparency to the edges and failing :(

well how did they made those scars transparant, go take a look @ them, it might work....

they're bitmaps...but only black and transparent as far as i can tell

where is the configuration info for the explosions/scars? ie what tells the engine to use the particular scars? is it all automatic or does a nuke have a different scar to a bertha shot?

It already supports transparency in alpha channel just fine

Supports tgas and YEAH it does support transparencies.

Unpossible, BMPS only support transparencies at 32bpp format.
