Server Flooding?

I accedently flooded a game with "START FFS!", and didn't know I would get banned for it...

I know flooding is stupid but I just had to do it that time, donno why...

Will never even think about doin that again haha

Well, err.. How long is the ban?

I'll grab your IP and unban you right away. The flood protection is more to protect our server then it is to punish people who didn't realize that flooding could do damage. Now you know, don't get caught again please.

No, we have no tempban features in lobby, and if someone is going to be flooding and isn't willing to ask to be unbanned then we don't want them back, because 99% chance it was either a spambot or malicous.

The thing is that its really off-putting to new people if they get banned.. They wont come back. And we want as many new players as possible right?

The ammount of spam you have to stream to be autobanned is absolutly obnoxious. If they get banned for flooding they will have no question about why it happened, and there's no reason they wouldn't come here and ask about it. We want people to check in, not to assume that it's just a minor thing and to keep it to once every 15 minutes. It's acceptable to get caught once, maby twice, but it's not the kind of thing that we're willing to risk letting people do all the time when they should know better.

Ive been banned for flooding once.. It was in a game in teh lobby, and it wasnt that much either.. just fast
