This is a test release for stability and speed. ANY gameplay/performance related suggestions or bug reports will be utterly ignored . Theres thousands of things to do still and due to the extreme amounts of testing i am likely to know about all issues you might discover, and even if it werent so there are many priorities ahead of them.
It sucks, youve been warned beforehand :D, im aware of all those problems and some much more severe ones, and while i appreaciate the goodwill but this is not yet the time for gameplay improvements.

Meh, does anyone else get desktop crashes?
It doesn't suck playing for me., it just crashes to destop approximately 0 minutes in-game with unhandled exception errors.
EDIT: I'm off to do a clean reinstall, let's see if it works.

i had my first aai vs kai matches and im really impressed, worked stable for me so far (one crash) and its really a hard opponent for aai. at the beginning (with fresh learning files) aai didnt stand a chance, now it seems to get better but kai defeats aai ~70% of the time :)

Still crashes even with a clean install. When there's more than 2 bots it crashes.

On normal maps I last much longer without crashes, but that bot is really damn tough to beat, when they've finished beating each other up, the last one owns me, even though he's just been in battle :/

iirc you can't that's why I love kai. It's not one of these bullcrap ai's that tries to play like a "human" and instead Kai just concentrates on beating the everloving shit out of you. Bloodthirsty AI anyone?

You wanna play humans get online, if you wanna play an AI then play an AI.

The ai has enabled cheating comes up as soon as an AI tries to retrieve the ai cheat interface, regardless of whether it gets used. You can see the message when you use XE9, even tho XE9 doesnt cheat unless you issue the .aicheat command.

KAI maphacks. Its always been a planned feature (it was me who asked for it to work on AIs in first place ). I dont plan to add resource hacks however, since it would be lowering it to a script, so youll have to wait if you really want it
I know the cause of most of the KAI crashes reported by now (keep checking back the first post for status on bugs), so they will get fixed as we have time to organize the SVN and such. if you spot any patterns to crashes let me know!

SVN? Is that a hint that this is going to be opensource in the semi near future?

It aint fair though that a guy who singlehandedly takes on all the other AI's with limited internet access and low computer resources, should face a 3 man team with no internet problems or apparent computer issues.

I wholeheartedly agree, life is a bitch!
(even though you have almost a year headstart, a dedicated buildtree maker and a broader player/tester base)

Broader playertester base?!?!?! AAI stole it!

Lindir only does XTA anyway, and we tend to disagree about things

I would suggest that all AI guys work on a single killer AI that is quite stable, then if they wanted to part ways, they could start with the stable AI and build to their like.

found and fixed the crash when kai is allied with something.
had to do with ai->cb->GetFriendlUnits(..) and assuming they were mine
