Perhaps the video recorder could simply start recording the sound input to .ogg as soon as it starts? Then we could send our sound output to our sound input, and wala! we have a full audio file to attach to our video.

Running spring, recoring the screeen (and possibly encousing it) adn encoding sound to ogg. not everyone has a dual core processor you know

Don't get me wrong, having an option to record the sound along with video would be very nice. But it's not a very imporant thing to have. (We'll just use fraps )

Why not just dump the audio as is aka wav?
Need more harddrive space but saves on cpu. And hopefully peep recordin got enough ram so spring doesnt need to use the harddrive as much

U can always recode the audiofile afterwards & try to sync it up with video later on.
