it doesnt matter that they may seem different... both games are derived from total annihilation. hence the link between supreme commander and spring.

most (i think) players of spring came here because of total annihilation. and alot of spring players probably have intentions of aquiring their copy of supreme commander

if alot of players from this game want to play supreme commander then wouldnt it be cool if you could recognise them =]
