Heck no. it should be up to the mod devs to allow it if the tas devs decide to add it, and i'll personally make a non allowed mutator of every mod thats crazy enough to have it. Adding this takes away an important element of the game. it also takes away part of the uniqueness of a builder. A better idea in my opinion would be to add a vehicle that has reclaim, but can actually take damage and return fire unlike a builder.
if your going to let units attack corpses why dont you just make them walkable.Besides, allowing the ability to attack team mates would attract a new brand of game ruiners.

while I'm not sure Krogothe's...eloquent...response was helpful, he has a point
But sure, why not allow modders the 'choice'...
[ ] no shooting at, around or near trees ('this mod sponsored by Greenpeace')
[x] *Total* annihilation possible, including features

Mod developers could make Dragonsteeth targetable if they wanted to, and trees can be pushed over or lit on fire(which actually does damage to metal robotsSnipawolf wrote:welll, for anni's get in fps and aim a little under base of trees, otherwise,
I NEED TO KILL STUFF. MY TEAM, DRAGON'STEETH, TREES, DEBRIS, and everything else in my way, like my allied bots too![]()
+1 for sure

Modders, AI coders, end-users, all agree that this is vital... I'm guessing you're just very new to the game Penguin. There's a reason all corpse files have damage values, it's because in OTA it was often necessary to clear wreckage while in the middle of a battlefield or else face being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

It seems to me like there is no need for an extra checkbox. Remember, this isn't auto targeting. This is just the ability to force fire.Soulless1 wrote:But sure, why not allow modders the 'choice'...

I think you missed the sarcasm there - I was pointing out that it was a stupid choice - noone's gonna use the first in any mod...patmo98 wrote:It seems to me like there is no need for an extra checkbox.
