Shield system: how are colors defined?

zwzsg's unit welding could be ussed to add a shield to a unit as easily as it could add a turret... you could even build static components and "load" them into the unit... or the engine could be updated to allow upgrades...

Speaking of Haegmonia, did you ever visit its official forum?

And I also support water effects on shields, as long as it wouldn't take away much time from important things. Would have to be on/offable in the settings menu, obviously. With my computer's newfound graphical prowess, I could manage those easy. Pretty soon everyone will have computers that can handle it.

I don't think anyone ever answered me on this: do these new shield properties go in the unit or in a weapon which is loaded on a unit?

Just an Off topic question about the shields.. IF 2 shields intersect eachother would there be 2 visable shields or would they merge into one ?

Hmm, i'd think it would eb much better just to have a ring texture on a plane tangent to the impact...
