Yep, this is FF Nightsky Opera, inspired by Fhiz Whizz Stratos Concept.

It uses the NASA Picture Earth in Ligths - with some Citylights overlayed as Texture for the Planetary Surface.

there's a set of tags that define colours and I think they're afefcting it here.

That ro you havent put a bottom to your skbox.

Those sorts fo colours have shown up on your other maps when you look at the edge, very ugly but there's terrain in the way so you tend not to see it as much............

I definatly have a bottom for my skybox and how exactly do i have to change the smd settings, to avoid the Stripe in the Void?

I think it was gatskaan that you could see the bottom of the skybox with, so try to see what was different with that....

Or look at stratos

Right- i copy Stratos.. Thx

And Gaatskaan had one Big Mistake... it really had no Bottom - i was tired and finnished it by simply smashing something in PS together. Sorry for that.

I can't make heads or tails out of that stripe, it looks like a hole in your skybox =\. FYI, Stratos' skybox was rendered with particular camera settings, and it looks like Picasso's skybox is drawn, which is probably WAY harder to hide the edges of.

I copy the Stratos Settings and It worked. And it is not drawn - it is a rendering that is reworked with Photoshop. Just a few Seconds till Release.

Seems like the world has waited for this.. 4 Downloads..

Wouldn`t it be cool if there was a Atmospherereentrydead in the Spring Engine - Just imagine your Ships- Planes sinking down, starting to glow and disappear like a Comet roaring over the Sky...

I'm confused, which screens in the first post are of the map you linked to?

because it almost looks like that's 3 different maps.

its a very nice concept but the map is also poor quality, use asteroids for resources and fairly high poly ship model features and this would be AWESOME
EDIT: If Caydr would lend you some of his GEM models maybe?

Mindbogglingly cool..

Good god we need a way to make the edges of the landscape look better. Voidwater maps are such a cool concept, and this is a goregeous example.... but damn, that jagged edge on the bottom of the landscape is fugly. Are any of the devs talking about this issue, or is this an indefinitly shelved problem?

Sinbad - how about you making the Map... and using the Skybox of NightskyOpera.. that way we could avoid me handling features, which could lead into a catastrophe

I'm pretty lazy, but I have a bit of free time over the next week so we could try working together on something...

Just tell me what to do and where to go - and i am on it.

As i understood it - inside the Plattforms i can go mad as usual, just the Borders have to be same height and a specific length?

I have some other Maps in the Pipeline till then...
