Same thing, inverted colors with a special case made for grey.

if a value is 254, 254, 254.... which is damn near white... the inverse is 001,0001,001... if a color is 255,000,000 (red) the inverse is 000,255,255 which is teal.

The only exception being greys like 100,100,100 because their invert is 155,155,155... a very light grey.

Like this?

To all those others suggesting weird and wonderful alternatives for outlining (negative colours, black *and* white borders, etc) - I'm too much of an OpenGL newbie to figure out how to do those things at this stage. Doing the black border was quite simple, but it would take a bit more work/figuring out to do the alternatives. I think the black borders at least provide a bit of an improvement and we could be here all day discussing even better solution. Maybe I'll revisit this someday, but for now I'm going to move onto my next little improvement I have on my agenda. If someone else wants to tackle this issue further, feel free :)

well tbh i dont think all the things mentioned above are really necessary. since im using a self built 0.72 version for aai tests i could check your new markers and imho visibility has been improved a lot - so a black border is enough

good job!

What if you make the edges negative color as what the color is inside the edge?
Then black marker would be easier to spot.

Or, what if we could change our marker colors? i dont see any reason why we need to have our team colors in the markers?

edit: oops, someone said about negative already.

Can you give an example? I have never needed such feature. :?

It is really annoying to use black markers, because you cant see them well...

I prefer we could change the color, if we want. OR some button which makes all markers/drawings into same color (but only you see them as same color...).
