This is not a priority issue at all, but would be an interesting addition for future versions.
I notice in the videos that units which are out of line of sight are dots. I like this a lot, and it makes sense. In TA, the units on radar were represented by dots. Ok. But the problem is that in TA, you might have 10 units together or 20 together and make roughly the same radar profile, since they'd overlap. In Spring, I imagine you'd know it right off the bat if you had 500 fleas coming at you, since you could determine that:
Blips are close together
They climb rough terrain
They can turn on a dime
There's a bloody lot of them
In a way, this is a good thing - it's much more accurate. But part of the strategy in TA was grouping your units close together so it would be difficult to determine their exact number.
So, I propose this idea: instead of individual blips, the dots will by some means (i'm no programmer) become somehow indeterminate when units are massed together. Maybe the blips could be larger.
This will be especially good since Spring has better unit formations and unit grouping, since faster ones will not leave their counterparts behind.

I can propose this system: make the blips solid color and semi-transparent. As they are, currently, LARGE blips for any unit, solid-colored blips will overlap when units are in tight groups. Semi-transparensy will make it easier on the eye. Even if you zoom in on them, you'll see nothing but a solid color. How's that idea?
