But will we ever see a "cancel last order" hotkey? It gets kind of annoying to remove an entire que just because you made a mistake...

Also, wouldn't it be a good idea to have something in the order que that is similar to the ALT-build thing that factories have? ie, holding alt and clicking on a unit icon will insert that unit into the current buildque at the front of the line....a similar approach could be done in the orders que. Say you might want a number of units to follow a set path to the enemies base, but on the way you notice a radar station, and you want your units to attack it and then continue on their predefined path, you could just hold this hotkey and order them to attack it, inserting that order in the front of the line in their order que.

I'm sorry if all of these things have been brought up before, but I was just wondering on the possibility and feasability of these hotkey commands.

I've especially wanted the second suggestion for quite a while now, but yeah the first would also be useful :-)

If you didn't know you can cancel an order when you click the same order at exact the same position. It can be a pain underwater but it works

What you can't cancel are the order queues coming out of factories. I'm planning on writing a patch to change that next.

The one thing that didn't royal suck about the sims was its its order queue gui elements. You know those boxes with the little pictures in them that you could click to make disapear. Now that plus a drag and drop feature would be gold.

Whats that you say? New GUI MTR? Well then hurry up and give it to us so we can impliment it!
