Is AA planning on using the evolva models?

Post by Theotherguy »

Well, I'm sure this has been debated before, but ever since XTA got the shiny new evolva models I was wondering if they would ever be implemented in AA. I mean, I know people want to keep the old feel and look, but those evolva models certainly look alot cooler in the spring engine :P

Caydr is quite refraining in using new models.
Becouse if you would include several high poli units, they woun't fit with the rest. also, they might have a differ design then the rest of the family, like they arn't made by the same makers.

Hold on a sec, I thought aa is already using models taken from the works of many many modders, each wildly different in terms of style, quality, and poly-count. unless Caydr remodelled every unit in aa sometime before the making of this post, I don't see how another contributor can be any problem.

Uh... AA already includes quite a lot of the evolva models. Almost all of them, in fact. The only ones I'm not using are ones that are a major redesign, for instance the Flash.

Caydr you should post a request for the ones you would like remade to better fit there original design. Unless you wanted to do them yourself, but with the THREE mods you are working on...

With 'maker' I ment the in-game maker, like Arm and Core.

A sort of request list would be cool. Not only that, he Caydr could tell us also how he wants them to look (model, texture, design).

really?

Is this in a new version or the currentley released one? Maybe I"m completley off and the evolva models aren't what I think they are. What's the name of the models that XTA currentley uses then?
