gameplay fixes for annoying things...othersuggestions wanted
1.can we make it so
a) metal extractors have a big enough area so you can build a moho mine on the same spot later without reclaiming first(most maps don't give you enough room)
b) automatically make it reclaim regular extractors when you try to build a moho on top of it
2.let you build stuff over trees/rocks/wreckage without first reclaiming
3.make an option to scatter units over a small area...red alert type games have it, really useful for avoiding big explosions and making planes not fly in a bunch that explodes at the same time

you would get no metal anyway, and the 30 seconds wont matter that much if you have some stored...nivek wrote:1.can we make it so

let me explain the extractor situation...
*i have a ton of metal extractors spread throughout my base
*i just built a lvl 2 kbot
*i have to have a kbot go around and reclaim all the exractors first
*then have the lvl 2 bot build all the moho's once all the first ones are gone
that is the only way without reclaiming and building one by one...which sucks

Just select the extractors you want to reclaim and selfdestruct them (str + d). YOu can select ALL extractors of the same type by selecting one and pressing (str z). Thats itnivek wrote:let me explain the extractor situation...

AA has metal extractors (we all call them them mex, you should too ^^) set to 0-second self-destruct. I don't know for sure, but other mods probably do too. Really it's no bother, and there'd be a bunch of irritating coding necessary to make the engine know that "yes, this is a regular metal extractor. It should be auto-relaimed when people try to build this other extractor on it, but not this other extractor".
