Units *MUST* be made to be able to force fire on debris

Post by Caydr »

It is essential that units be able to force-fire at blocking terrain features, such as dragons teeth, fort walls, or just unit corpses. This is really vital. Nobody's really made a stink about it that I know of, but it's something sorely lacking. Please +1 this if you agree, fellow members.

Agreed.

Units should be able to force-fire at friendly units as well. I believe they were able to do this in TA, no? As well as most other RTS's.

They need to be able to force-fire properly, period. And we need an "area fire" that commands units to fire on a random spot in a circular area every time they shoot, to allow saturation weapons to become a lot more useful.

... and soz, Caydr, didn't mean to go off-topic. It's just that force-fire has so many issues. Not being able to force-fire through the minimap has always been one of the things driving me crazy about Spring.

Yes. This is really vital. And so's the area bombardment too.
