Such yellowness. Go easy on the ambient & sun color please!
Otherwise it was a nice map. What was changed?
I don't see the alien plants. I'm sure they were modelled, I saw them on some other map.

I'm going to be honest and tell you that the light looks like crap and has to go.

What's wrong with it? Mars is red and has a red tint on Everything. THis planet is Yellow and as such has a yellow tint on anything and everything.

I don't understand why you people criticize others for being original. You don't seem to berate picasso for it.

Mars isnt actually red, it's just the way the light sensors are tuned to be mroe sensitive different wavelengths, hence why some come out so blue/skyblue/pink/red/orange

Actually come to think of it, that's true. TO our eyes though, it is red... Very red. http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics/G ... e_sky.html Check out this link.

Have you made the water deep enough?
The first version of the map did not had water deep enough to fully cover one of the comms nor to even build one of the underwater storages from Core.

if it's a water map the depth of the water should be minimum -100

It makes it look like I'm playing on a 15 yo screen with 5000K color temperature, it just spoils an otherwise excellent map in my eyes.

The core underwater metal storage IS underwater

but the water couldn't be made too deep, because otherwiser hovers/amphi's won't be able to get up the slopes.

a lot of time went into this....

and it doesn't have a depth of 100 i think, and it isn't needed, caydr will change the subs back to normal so everything will be fine again..

it needs to be -100 or more for ships to work correctly.

Now that I am more used to it, the yellow is a pretty cool. Lends a sickly atmosphere to everything. But I think that was the point.

I am going to be a rebel and say that I really do not like the yellow atmosphere. The tint is way too strong. Want to argue it? fine you play blue on blue on ltblue... or black vs purple.

*Edit* I do not want to be misunderstood. I am not trying to give noize a hard time I am just saying that we(mappers) need to take a note from the days of q2. Back then everyone and their brother overused colored lighting. It is bad practice. A lot of people woll not play this map because it paints the units yellow. Which will not only make it hard to differentiate units but also teams. *end edit*
