if you are talking about the models, spring uses its own format .S3O, for which you will need either one of the limited plug ins to export to that format, or UPSPRING to convert your models to that format (think you need UPSPRING even for not converting, not sure)

For making 3d0 files you will need to be able to export .obj

For making s3o files you need either .obj or .3ds

I just say wings because a lot of us use it. Don't get bent out of shape in order to help you I have to make no knowledge assumptions.

Wings3d bugs me cause it seems to always want to put a square when I want a sphere or some such..... You think my copy is glitched?

If you don't like wings, you can use almost any other modeller instead. We just advise to use Wings3d because it's free and rather easy, but if you don't like it, use whatever other modeller you prefer or are used to.

It may be worth your while to see if the heavy geear project with centurion is looking for help... or maybe Guessmyname's sapce mod.
The only people I need are text guru's and a texture artist (And some beta testers, but that's some way off)

Well, I'll try again with wings, and assume I got a bugged copy last time.

Yep, works fine this time. Maybe it was my graphics card last time...

This type of thing is very recurring in Happypenguin.

People are always told that what they are asking for, is for someone else to make they're idea for them. It is actually partly true.

I always tell them that, to get help, they must provide possible helpers with something they like to see and that will help greatly in the making.
Not necessarily in the sense of a game partly completed but in the sense of extensive and well organized documentation, sketches and plans.

To the moment, none of those has actually came forward, after, with those plannings. If they didn't had the dedication for even that, what makes others think they would have the dedication for a full game? Kind of makes me glad, then, that no one wasted time on such a mood thing.

Again, as you seem to have been advised and has i always advise in Happypenguin, you need to take first steps onto yourself and show how dedicated and serious you are about it.

I think you'd get more people to help with evidence of more work then just thinking. And a poorly drawn map

Also I object to the assumption of the radical Christian right will take over America. Thats crazy talk. I'd stop them. Along with my pal, Chuck Norris.

pffft, zombie, I'd have expected you and chuck to have been in space, if you'd read the storyline.

As for the map, I got bored one day and had paint open, thats all :P
