Nano particles need to move faster

Post by Caydr »

Subject says it all. They need to move at least 2-3x faster. Agree/disagree?

Tighter stream too. We sound like Urologists.

Well, until the stream becomes yellow, we shouldn't worry about urology...

I say do what TA did and have the stream width be dependant on the size of the unit being built, like the radius that is anyways used.

If you watch the intro, there's a really good example of how nano particles "should" look in the real world. Now, while I think it'd be cool if it was dependant on the size of the unit, I think - while unrealistic or whatever - that it looks COOL when the spray is slightly beyond the size of the unit. It looks like these nano particles are... hairspray or something :P Well anyway, looked cool to me, what do you think?

I guess it would be nice also, if the nano spray was the color of the armies side...!?

Keep the nano spray green otherwise add the colour thing as an option. But do allow us to mod the effect

For OTA at least, it should remain green, but the particules should probably be smaller and more numerous, more like a spray rather than sporadic fuzzballs.

Or best of all make it definable as per weapons. Rate per second of generation, spread, color, fit to target, speed, etc.

To me, the current nano effects look good. And they look better than in TA.

Current nanospray, as seen in video15, looks very fine to me. No I don't want them to go faster, or be tinier. They look very good as they are.

Look at video 16, at 1:45. I'm not complaining or anything, I'm just saying... it's probably a simple variable to change, and as it stands it doesn't resemble OTA. I'm fine with them being sort of fuzzy looking, unlike the hard square shapes from TA, but if you compare OTA and Spring, they move at completely different speeds.

I wouldn't whine about something so trivial if it was something that would be hard to change, honest.
