UV mapper classic

Post by MrSpontaneous »

I understand a number of people make use of this application to make good UV maps. Every time I have tried to use it, it usaly clean crashes to desktop when I try to save the model (and the UVs so that they will work with other models)

It clean crashs the first time I try to save UVs to an image file as well. . . :|

wondering if any one knows what causes this and how to deal with it

thanks

I have been using wings for all my models so far, but it seems like I can get them better in mapper shrug. guess I will keep mapping em in wings then.

It's what I do. I can a good UV map in about 5 minutes. Its the actual texturing that's hard

I try using UV Mapper Classic in combination with Anim8or.
Unfortunatly, I suck at making anything with those two.

I've juggled between UV Mapper Classic, LithUnwrap, and Wings. They're all decent programs.
