Last time I looked ta wasnt real life... although Im sure I saw a fido wandering down the srtreet one time when i was a bit drunk.
But i think some realworld tactics are viable in aa
defence creep - trench warfare - realworld
get to level3 - superior technology/arms race - real world
punisher creep - advancing artillery maybe? - real world
Flash rush - the US marine core rushing the Iraqis inferior tanks and catching them completely by surprise in their shiny abrahms during desert storm? - real world
comm bombing - nuclear bombs? - real world
I air dropped some phatboys behind enemy lines today! it does work you just have to be sneaky hehe
Ambushing on mountainous maps with kbots etc - Im sure thats been done in real life too
not to mention bombing runs and airstrikes on high priority targets....
Which mods promote tactics other than the ones above? let me know I wanna play it, I may be missing out here

how precisely? a trench is a defensive position, soldiers in the 1st world war fought for years over a few miles of territory gradually moving forward digging new trenches and fortifying them only to be pushed back only to regain the same ground after further fighting,
its not too different to how some of the more porcy games play out in aa
with walls of dt etc
you didnt answer my last question either...I wasnt being sarcastic I genuinely want the info

But then there is the other thing, like how Trench Warfare is absolutly no fun at all, and very boring to watch.
I also wish more people would play EE. Why? Its faster, and more fun then AA. Am I crazy if I never really liked AA? Why? Cuase I just think the play style is a little boring. Its not an attack on AA, its just an opinion.

well of course.. porcey games are crappy, boring and slow, but they do happen... just like they do in ee sometimes.
I just like the way aa has way more scope for varied tactics imo, i.e. more varied units fullfilling many different roles, atv kbots and mechs for one, and my personal fav... emp ^^
I do like the fast pace of ee though, makes for really intense games on small to medium maps
