Ok it would pose problems if you'd start a game at night. You'd have to rely on wind tidals and geos in the beginning. But after that you soon get to a fusion which gives constant output. It would be nice to have these weather effect influence the way you manage your resources.

Actually current day solar panel technology allows you to still maintain 70% energy production in comparison to daytime energy production. Thats because allt he latest Solar panel technologies use Infra Red mostly and Wether the sun's out or not everything emits infra red to some extent.

Perhaps, but it sounds more like a mod than anything. The fans of vanilla TA would be up in arms to find their beloved gameplay tampered with.

I'm not against it as it is, but I don't think it should be part of the default gameplay.

plug in a options then in the battle window such as limited d gun = prob fixed......but i dont see weather of day/night coming any decade soon :cry:

pfff ... we are not playing a car game !!! its not formula 1 ... why make lag with this stupid change ? if u want to play as if it was the night ... disable all solar energy maker and put "alt+f4" at the beginning ... now its night !!!
