What's funny:

Historical Japanes battles, such as when giant crabs invaded the mainland. Fortunately, when it seemed all hope was lost, someone discovered that you can hit them in their weak spot for MASSIVE DAMAGE!!

Everyone's so tired of RIIIIDGE RACERRRR that the guy couldn't make anyone care. He kept on repeating himself, as if he was assuming his mic has shut off for a few seconds. Then people start laughing. This sort of reminds me of the Microsoft monkey-dance boy.

Finally, the console costs $599. Don't forget: according to Krazy Ken Kutaragi, this is too cheap.

<end of funny things in video>

I'm sad that the guy throwing himself around the stage trying to demonstrate their innovative controller wasn't included though :(\

Sony got MASSIVE DAMAGE this last E3 - without any major press events before PS3's launch, they're going to have a very hard time convincing the hardcore gamer crowd that they know what they're doing. (ie, the only people who'd spend $600 on a game console, plus another 5k for a high-definition TV, plus $80 per game)

A lot of people, myself included, are starting to feel really meh about PS3, if they were ever interested in the first place. I figured I'd get a Rev and a PS3, and be pretty much set. Now I'll probaby just get a Nintendo and an ubercomputer.

On the one hand, I can understand the inflated launch price - provided they lop off $200 two months after the launch. Remember how the XBOX 360 and PS2 went straight to Ebay for thousands of dollars at launch time - maybe Sony just wants a bit of the launch-time-pie? I can respect that.

It doesn't matter anyways - they have no launch titles to speak of, and the scandal with the control pad having a simple tilt-sensor is hilarious.

Wii will use a friends code like system, so you can only fight with pepole you know or have given out their friend code. Offcourse, that means less idiots to play agsint, rarly seen in online gaming. ;)

Ugg, that's a terrible solution. I can appreciate people who want to work within the friend code only but there should be a way to access the greater SSB comunity internal to the wii.

I would expect there will be before too much longer, once Nintendo realizes it may win back some of the older generations it lost during the Cube/PS2/XBOX era, on account of the PS3 not being as serious competition.

Right now, I suspect Nintendo is sticking to the Friend system since it provides much greater protection for younger kids playing around online. After all... we all know how "friendly" and "clean" general internet chatter can be.

I believe you have missinterpreted the friend code system... there is typically online "matching" service, that will allow world wide competition, but no chatting or "online status"... with prime hunters you are able to create a "rival list" of people you've played before and see online status of them... and then friends who you get to see status of and chat with... never used the friend code and have played online with my DS plenty.
