The new lobby version

Post by hawkki »

I just must say that i truly love the changes made to the new lobby version. Now it is easier to use and more clear. Great progress, great work! This is the first REAL update in a long time !

Thank you, keep up the good work!

Thanks :)

I'll be away for the next month or so (exams in June) and won't be working on the lobby much though.

Ack! He won't be here to unban me! Can some other mod unban me within the next week please? Afterwards, put me on a mute for a while, cuz I know I need it.

Ah, thanks. The auto-update didn't work for me for some reason (0.23 still works fine with the current server). And there was no announcement whatsoever IIRC ...

That's because I forgot to force update on fnord's server :) It is fixed now.

the ability to make startboxes composing of vectors would be nice. so you get it right on maps with odd layouts, and to give more flexibiltty

Perhaps the mapper could add them to the smd...and perhaps have different start layout with, for exemple, two zone where a team can start.

Easiest, simplest way to do it i think...

leaving it to modders/mappers would be idiocy, they cant possible predict all the random arrangements of a game one might want.
