I dont want to release stuff to often so as to not annoy everyone, however I am considering for the next version:

Nerfing the light Ion Tank

Increasing the range of the lvl 1-3 AA weapons / and possibly adding a very long range very slow anti air weapon ala AA

Adjusting the speed of the URC plasma superweapon so it can reach its max range better

Adjusting overall turret rotation speeds on all units for tweaking purposes

Increasing speed and health of comms so they can survive better and escape

Adjusting LOS of water units to make amphibious unit/submarine detection easier

Addition of a sub hunter ship which would only be able to attack subs making it weak to other ships but able to stop mass sub swarms

No more than one release every week is fine, in my opinion... Sounds good so far.

i find comms fast and strong enough, hell i use them to soak up enemy fire early game. If you send it to the frontlines to die its not a balance issue.
The super-long-range-high-damage-AA-blatant-copy unit is silly at its best, AA turrets do their job well (yes range would help though).
lastly, one of the things i liked about early EE was the few units and their different tactics. I dont like the idea of filling every possible little niche especially when you get "useless" units like a plasma and cannon mech for URC, which are so similar its silly.
Fast turret rotation? lvl1? ok, but for higher level units? takes away the fun of out-microing them with lvl1s.
otherwise i like the changes, i guess...

rather than add an ASW ship to E&E, why not nerf submarines? I think it is for the better that submarines would only play a minor roll in games. Along those lines, I wanted to know if you could upgrade the GD and URC cruisers to have dual torpedoes instead of singles like the destroyer and gunboat.

Actually krogothe all though you dont know it the lvl 2 cannon mech was in the mod from way way way way in the beginning when I was still knocking this off as a port of earth 2150/moon project and basically was because the UCS had: plasma, rocket, cannon weapons so I thought I would add it in.. right now Im debating how to utilize that weapon Im thinking is that it should be a longer range High dmg slow rate of fire weapon as opposed to the rapid fire medium dmg shorter range of plasma..

Also when i say adjust this doesnt mean increase.. it means look at and change..

I misread then :)

I trust you will do a good job with the cannon mechs, just a little diversity would be nice ;)
Id give it a really slow firing rate, but a kickass BOOM kinda cannon, with high impulsefactor and shot speed, kinda like the AA leveller but badder, a lot badder!

how about something more original? like the plasma being slow travelling high damage projectiles (more useful vs buildings, large slow units and hordes) and keep the cannon as a more versatile mech, possibly nerf it vs buildings and make it even better vs t2 units or something?

Min mat... wow and lets make the game play more like OTA... why would plasma travel slow.. its magnetically accelerated highly excited gas... it would not travel slow and it would not go far.. and it is the staple weapon of the URC... it is a rapid fire not specifically high dmg weapon with a medium range... I will change the cannon mechs in a way and it cant be original as everything has been done before..

Plamsa should stay fast but it would be nice if it looked less like a laser and more like...i don't know. If you've seen Babylon 5, make it look like the PPG shots, cuase those were actually plasma. PPG stands for Phased Plasma Gun. And those shots looked friggen cool! And sounded cool too. In fact that entire show was cool.

hey i was only suggesting this at t2! something like the ion cannon. meh, guess noone likes that idea

I meant a 1 shot kill on lv1's

Lv2's take 3 shots from just that cannon to die I believe.

Aun, as far as I'm aware, they havn't been touched.
