Having an issue

Im using the wings 3d program to model and im not sure how to save a screenshot, also i used print screen but im not sure where the image is saved.

It's not saved when you use PRNTSCRN, just copied to the Clipboard. To make an image with that data, open up MSPAINT or the painting application of your choice, make a new document, and Paste it in.

I believe the image from Print Screen is placed on the clipboard, so you can paste in into a picture editor.

Clipboard is imbedded into windows functionality. You know when you copy paste something? Well whatever you copied is transfered to the clip board. So when you press print screen what you need to do to get the image is open up an image editor and rightclick -> paste. If you use Gimp there's a "paste from clipboard" option which is basicly the same thing.
