I cant wait until this years E3 footage of spore comes out. there are some even the preview preview videos look awesome.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7hsp7XQ ... 20fipilele
all i hope is they don't do a black and white 2 on it and make the game a boring, linear mission centred poo-fest!

i think building giant 10 armed bug warriors with swords for limbs would keep me busy for a few days :DComp1337 wrote:Spore looks really cool, especially if theres really many alternatives as to what to do.
That would work so well with the planned multiplayer. Good times fellas, good times.
i didn't think they were doing a multiplayer aspect? just the 'rip content from other people's worlds' stuff.
I thought i read somewhere that it would feature like a big galaxy where you had your planets, and you could do battle with other peoples err... Civilzations? But that was a while ago, may have been scrapped since.unpossible wrote:i think building giant 10 armed bug warriors with swords for limbs would keep me busy for a few days :DComp1337 wrote:Spore looks really cool, especially if theres really many alternatives as to what to do.

well, you are competing/interacting with *their* civilisations, but i think it means that your universe is populated by content taken from other players' universes. so your neighbours might use copies of their planets and creatures, but it won't be a multiplayer affair.Comp1337 wrote:I thought i read somewhere that it would feature like a big galaxy where you had your planets, and you could do battle with other peoples err... I find it funny that they fixed the interface problems the original game had for B&W2, but they somehow broke everything that made the game fun. For all the extra structures the introduced and the new things you could do thier total removal of non-RTS gameplay elements robbed the game compleatly of it's endeering qualities. B&W was a good sandbox game, B&W2 was simply a poor RTS.unpossible wrote:n00b! rip b&w 2 to shreds but leave the original alone!Erom wrote:Ugh. I despised Black and White. It's the only game I've ever returned to the store due to total crapication.

it's like you read my mind! you have to wonder why they did it. did they look at the finished product or just rush it out?!SwiftSpear wrote: I find it funny that they fixed the interface problems the original game had for B&W2, but they somehow broke everything that made the game fun.
