Those models are not by me, but by Sinclaire and Zippo.
Don't get any hope of playing with them soon yet,
they shall sleep in their tombs for a couple more eons.
T'was just a teaser of times to come.
Also unavaible for TA!

they are from the Warhammer 40000 universe. they were a race of people that were tricked into giving up their souls for nearly indestructable metal bodies. The Necron's now serve as harvesters for the C'Tan, might beings made from the energy of stars, who tricked them in the first place.

This one is gonna be tough to represent in TA & Spring. I thought about two ways:

1) Give the Necon alot of ressurector units, even frontline ones.

2) Script all Necron units so that when their health fall below 25%:
- They "explode" many of their pieces, to change their appearance into crippled Necrons, such as a pair of leg without an upper body, or a legless body crawling on its arm.
- They set ARMORED to TRUE; to activate a damagemodifier rendering them nearly-invulnerable.
- They jam they weapon
- They move their SweetSpot far away, in the hope of stopping to attract enemy fire.
So, in that state the necron would be unable to fight, they'd be reduced to living corpse. But their auto-heal would be slowly regenerating their health, until their health pass a threshold again. At that point, they would jump back to their feet and return to functionning as normal.

Solution 2) has some issues:
- It would made crippled units the ultimate spy, since they would still move as fast as normal and see as far as normal.
- It would made the crippled units the ultimate wall, even if moving the sweetspot prevent them from being actively targetted (of which I'm not even certain), they would still soak up all incoming fire. And they'd be "created" right on the front line. However, unlike in TA, in Spring friendly can't fire through friendly, so they wouldn't be as ultimate wall in Spring as in TA.

Do anyone know any secret way to make units suddenly immobile and passable?

Sickly green and black is the way to go, even with Mexx's. NO, expecially with mexxes.

Been hoping for this for a while :)

Necrons in 40k rely on other necrons close by to be able to regenerate, so I'd say solution 1 would be best...is there some way you could make *every* necron unit able to rez, but somehow script the units so that they automatically try to rez any nearby necron units when idle?

Of course, then you might need some way to restrict the player form using them to rez non-necron stuff...
