Why are targets in radar still targetable even though consealed by antiradar? Also, SpringSP resets teams to Arm and tends to reset colors to red when changing mods.

Having those statistics stored in a file would put automated tournaments just a step closer. :-)

Btw, we've had a very specific problem with out local network here, and we were unable to play Spring over it. We're running a constant DSL connection that is free, but limited to a certain range of IPs, and a VPN connection so we gain access to the rest of the net, and another range of free IPs. The problem is the folowing - it is impossible to connect player-to-player via the 'always free' range of IPs, but even if VPN is raised and we are able to see each other in the lobby, we are unable to play, because Spring attempts to connect via the first, "always free" address, and fails, despite the fact that the lobby settings tell it to connect via the second, VPN address. It was tested as of 0.70b1, but I haven't seen any relevant changes in the changelog yet, so it's probably still in effect.

any way to get the sound back the way it used to be?
I wanna hear my units when they do stuff but I really dont need to hear metalmakers open and close and fast units guarding slow ones stopping and goooing all over the map.

some suffer some don't.
i had it 4-5 vsns ago, but only for that vsn. im not sure but i think it has something to do with my software, maybes a windows update? anyway not everyone suffers, so i think that the cause should be found so that a cure can be implemented :)

I had the Alt-Tab bug in version .70b1 (I think), but in .70b3 and .71b1 it has been fine for me

the alt tab bug cropped up in the first crossplatform build released to the public (0.7) and is likely just because of changes in the way everythings rendered with OpenGL...

If it's any consolation they have the same issue over at the Glest project after they merged their own linux port...

Hmm, I've alt-tabbed several times (both host and client), so far, no crashes. Maybe it's fixed (intended or not)

Apparently, alt-tab is related to graphics card. Most NVidia users can handle it just fine, most ATI users crash.

What is the new water renderer supposed to do exactly? i see now change? might be unsupported or something though but I dunno.

Anyway, quite a number of decent improvements!

BTW, I have quite a few problems with SpringSP! some error messages loading mods and the sides are defaulted to Arm and Core...

In case you haven't, you need to enable the new water renderer in the program settings...

If your graphics card is old enough, Spring won't even try to use the new water. That's what happens with mine.

Water deforming uses Shader Model 3, which old cards don't have, so the deforming can't be used at all.
