no more quantum mechanics for me!

Post by unpossible »

hoorah, i just sat my final quantum exams!

why do i still have the feeling i'll need more quantum for my nuclear exam?

anybody else had the pleasure of dealing with Fermi's golden rule?

who would still hurt regardless of the value of the observable :P

I've never understood Schrodinger's cat... i mean, it's just a random chance of it being dead or alive.

the point isn't whether or not the cat is dead or alive, it's that you don't know until you look in the box...so you can argue that the cat is occupying all possible states (dead AND alive in this case) until you collapse it into one state by 'observing' it.

true though it's random chance. it's just how q.m works

unpossible, no. Schrodinger was wrong. the ONLY state a cat will be in after you lock it into a box is BLOODY FURIOUS!

aye, 'tis why it makes such a good weapon...people just don't know what to expect from Schrodinger's cat!

LOL
And congratulations on the physics! Im thinking of studying some kind of physics as well, maybe astrophysics. Nerdy, but cool :P

Shroders cat?

Isn't taht the theory that because no one knows whats happened to the cat, it therefore, Theoretically, Exsists as alive and dead at the same time?

That made me look a bit of an idiot then :/

And is also provides reason that your carkeys, wallet, Lunch or anything else is under your coat, In your bedroom and Under the stairs at the same time :D

nope, they're just always in the last place you look. and that is because you would have to be a complete moron to carry on looking once you've found them - unless you were trying to prove they're everywhere at the same time!

I personally believe that a flaming cat flying through the air is the most dangerous thing on earth.

I would test the theory, but I'm not that cruel.
