retrieving game stats (core engine)

Hi, i saw there are nice stats when the game ends ..
whould it be possible to access, writing a file like the one for the console (infolog.txt)
best would be to access at any time even if game isn't over :)
and 2nd, is it possible to send messages without typing them ? (with windows messages maybe ?)
