Amusing commplosion stories

I was about to finish a krogoth (about 8000 out of 9600 or whatever), I had an airbase, a row of flakkers, an intimidator, a doomsday machine (yes, only one....) , some moho metal makers and some fusion reactors and an anti nuke.

and the enemy (I only realise now) was radar jamming.

he walked an orcone into my base, and I d-gunned him (only thing I could do). the orcone explosion took out a load of my base including ALL of my factories except l1 kbots, my metal makers, my Timmy, and the anti nuke, the comm was blasted towards my fusion reactors and exploded near them :/

I have learned to keep my base away from the entrance of the pass in altored_divide. :)

funny game that one. weird thing is that me and comp have been fine since, guess we got the shit slinging out of the way ^-^

OT: being mad at each other leads nowhere, i prefer a light, easy atmosphere before one loaded with anger.

i had a 3v3 game on Crossing v4, it was kinda balanced. (think i was vs Tired, cant rememer for sure) anyway, a comm was hiding in the crater on the left side, i fired a cruise missle at him, mustve hit almost exactly under him.. he flew up, past the camera, way far up, until he came crashing sown on the top players base chainreacting with his comm.
Do i need to tell you i won that?

I had a fun battle on Crossing v4. Comm Ends, 4v4... One of the enemy players gets his plasma cannon up in the middle just seconds before mine's done. But he neglects to put any laser towers near it. So I stroll my Comm over there, D-Gun a mob of AKs, D-Gun the plasma cannon, and then saunter off.

So he decides to do the same thing to me. And notices too late that I've got three or four LLTs near it, spaced out in a line along one of the ridges. I notice that he's not stopping and tell my Comm to boot it back to my main base. He D-Guns a bunch of stuff including my cannon, turns to try and get out of there, and gets wasted by the last two LLTs. My Comm's right near the edge of the explosion, so he goes tumbling along the ground for about half a screen, and I'm positive he's dead.

The lucky bugger survived with 36 HP.

Well, Me, Sleksa and Krogothe decides to do a good old WarC vs Rest and qwickly round up agsint some semi good players on some borderline metalmap (that sucked>.>).

Anyways, the game proggres qwite good, i do a nice air raid, Sleksa rushes a BB and krogothe genarly fights a middle trenchwar. Then we Krogothes troups storm the second player (after killing the other ones com) i get bored since i have nothing to attack with. So i take some old transports (which i forgot to use for com napping and pickup my and my allys coms and places them outside the last guys base so we can have some d-gun fun.

Unfortenly, the guy was planning a com bomb. And then BOOM and we lost.

i was playing a 5v5 game on altered. our guy in the center lost it all to a nuke so i sent my comm to stop any forces from getting through. well, the guy continued to nuke throughout the bases and sent another one to the center. my comm was pressed up against a wall when another nuke went towards the center. my comm was just out of range but not far enough to get completely away. it took half of his health and launched him into the air. he flew from the right center to the center opening right where my ally had rebuilt some defenses. i watched in horror, although it was funny at the same time to see him flying, as he hit right on the defense line and blew up.

in ~OTA, I once gave all my base to my nearly dead teammate.

then walked my caommdner into the enemy base, Dguned a bunch of shit, And Sploderised his caommdner, All his factories workers and everything else.

And this was in OTA mind. When commander bombing was frowned upon by everyone.

I was fooling around in Caustic Realm to get famaliarised with the new units. The enemy used an empty script (somehow I just can't get the AI's to work and they almost always crash the game), so it was just a comm standing there doing nothing. I flew a Liche in FPS mode to bomb the commander, and he was tossed into midair briefly and did some Matrix-styled trick: doing side somersault while shooting at me with his laser.
He landed with a few hundred HP.
I forgot to mention that I was playing with the AA1.46 mod.

Haha, sort of the same thing happened to me on Altored Divide. My comm was almost hit by a nuke, and went flying over one of the mountains. I was positive my comm would die, but he survived with less than 50 HP.

So I try to move my comm back to my base, and along comes a couple of AK and wastes my comm.
