It's not because you're good at NanoBlobs that you are good a all game.
It play very differently, and it's perhaps the cause of your misunderstanding.

Surely some people are playing this mod for a month, and you, in a few day came and say "stop it and listen to me : you are all wrong!"
It's good to make comment, and I'm sure fang appreciate them, but you should too accept comments.
If Fang doesn't recognize the basic truth here, which is that the mod is pretty well broken at a fundamental level, that's fine- I just won't play it, and I'll ignore it from here on out. It's his mod, not yours, and I have yet to read his comments.
The basic truth ... surely I've played all the weekend, and for me, the game is not broken. Sure it have to be improved, but it's not that borked.
And, to make my point clear- I was working on that texture project on the side, in great part to help this mod... and now I'm not, because of these rude comments. I won't help people who put up with this kind of fanboy nonsense.
You'll stop just because of min3mat wich are know to be harsh and stupid (sorry min ;)) ? Surely you don't know the way this mod take, is it that?


I hope you will not take that to much personally, they are people who like the way it's played, and it's normal to have "vigurous" comment when someone want to change things.

And for my opinion, I think that the mod is really hard when you play versus a better player(because comms don't have weapon, you must not loose untis at the beggining) and end very quickly.
But when team are faire, it's just so good :)

I think its more fun still when you start out worse, though my view is biased since ive only ever lost 2 games of E&E afaik, my first one and my 1v1 vs flint, both of which i got pwned too quick to get worked up about it.
And argh, please calm down. You make such huge posts on the forums, you take those things so personal... Is it really that important to you, is it worth the effort? I only come here for the fun of ranting/arguiing/flaming, i could argue balance changes on the lobby, but i post here because i have a ball of a time, maybe you should too!

You can only truly change people's minds and hearts with your actions, not your words, so go pwn them and they will know whos daddy!

No one is angry at you speificly Fang. But opnions clash, ideas take fligth and get shot down and then the flames reign across the thread, surronding it with hellfire. And under those conditions, the mood is far from light.


Just a quick note: Could you post a link with the post announceing the new version? That way it's easyer to tell if a new version is out!

Oh well.

We had a few 4vs4 games on a truely epic map, called Giant-Hills-Mountains.

Also it was EE-Beta Crew vs Newbees during the first match, the game still went on for nearly 30 minutes.

Of course, large maps promote longer games, as they do with any mod, but i think that maps that have metal spots to take and then have a gap of spots in the middle of the map, make for fun stand-off with this mod, obviously.

So, you can get longer games with the current version of E&E, but only on HUGE maps.

I figure we should play this on Plains and Passes, huge map with lots of metal and chokepoints and see how it handles there.

Another release already? This better not be a mod that releases a puny little changelog every day and calls it an update. Thats just hell on dial up. Wait till you make alot of changes that actually impact the game and make it quite different from the previous version.

Well yes, I've been saying this for a while now; E&E units have much larger ranges and are faster than OTA units. Think double OTA values, so logically, the maps would need to be twice as large to play the same.

Lordo, the new spring version fixed a bug, a bug which doubled plasma units' damage. Hence the plasma unit damage was halved. Bit of a balance issue, don't you think?

Well, this is a beta. Changes come faster when something's not in a "finished" state.

How's NI coming along? I'd like to play as them soon.

jesus if you don't like the mod don't play it. Everyone plays differently so of course there is going to be some people who don't like the mod and think its broken..its up to the mod creator to decide if it truely is broken or not. Stupid forum drama doesn't help fix a mod if somthing is broken it just makes the mod creator have to shift through crap to find real bug reports.

I notice that sometimes there is a problem with a tie between the GD and the GD. See both me and Felix the Cat had shuch withering defence's that whenever we attacked our force's were cut to shreads. I suggest the Chernoble as a way to break up hard defences. The only problem is the thing dosn't quite do enough damage. Also its a nuke gun. I think it should be more "explody" and less "shooty".

That is higher damage and slower build rates and more expensiveness. Or you could just tell me a good stratage. I tried air drops, but Felix was smart and had some cool AA guns sprinkled throuhg out his base, weaking my tanks so i could only trash half his econmy :cry:

Sounds like a case for sending up artillery under jamming. GD t3 arties are brutal, 4-5 of them moved up under radar jamming should break down pretty much anything.

I like my rocket tanks and if fang gimps them I will have to build them in even larger numbers.

It is hard to fight off urc players when using rockets as it is.

One rocket tower loses to a GD Vladost on a one on one. and its a defnece. If thats "Overpowered" Then thast just wrong.

drone the rocket tower is not ur best one on one defense, plasma is, if u want rocket towers to be effective put them behind some DTs. a line of rocket tower behind walls mixed with plasma turrtes will hold of any attack that doesn't have arty support.
