Soundformat OGG-Vorbis

Ogg is a good I idea, but I don't think it's an urgent issue. As Bvdorp said, it will only be significant for long sounds, like backgroung music or dialog fluff in a campaign. So I'm for it, but I think it isn't won't be an important feature until there are campaigns and event triggered background music.

Actually, for background music, I'd also consider mpc which is considered both better quality and more CPU efficient than ogg.AF wrote:I say add it in anyways and let modders test it out for themselves and use it where appropriate, as we'll need something like it anyways for when background music is implemented....

Mmm, I've still got my music playlists from the last time this discussion came around lined up for uploading when we finally get active music support. I suppose I should see if I can dig up free versions of the songs (most are classical, making it a lot easier) so that it can be shared around legally...
