Total Annihilation - The Last Stand

Hello,
I know some people see my old topic with the OO mod,the name was just a placeholder and now it got a real name TA=TLS !
And I´m no longer alone , ]TLS[MJJNL and ]TLS[Speedy they help me with the mod , our mod :)

Its based first of ota , but if you read that and think:"oh no,ota shitty..."
I added new units and buildings and later special weapons and more.

First the units are "stolen/used" from the old custom-unituniverse from ota, but we will replace and make new models for the added one :) maybe remake them to highpoly ones with better skins :).

I changed much weapons too and i work now on the Arm side , core is Done to 70% for now :)

Some testings with people from my team and with some nice people from TASClient makes much fun and saying me that we are on the right way with this mod! :)

So stay tuned for this mod ! :)

I have one question: What makes THIS mod stand out from the other mods? It can just be the unit count (In TA thats a given). What about these units makes THIS mod the one to play?

Whats special about this mod ( i played it yesterday):
- you have a lot of variaty between superunits, you can build super units (kbots) in the krogoth gantry. And you can build powerful giant spider units in the "superfactory"
- there is more special long distance artillery: omega gun (fires small nuke-like bullets and a gun which causes a rain of bullets.

In fact it is basically ota but with new special units wich none of the other mods have. This makes a lot of new strategies possible.

more, more and more units, even superunits. Is it this hard for ppl to develop a mod with actually _less_ units, so you don't have to to get to know like 500 units?

These "superunits" are just lvl 4 units, they are not all extremely powerful like Krogoth. They are just quite strong. This mod creates games with some new powerful units which are fun to play with. But they aren't boring invincible units.

it is when they do not make their own units.

people need to stop calling these things mods... in the ota days they were unit compilations.

mod implies you at least made most if not all of the units... but I digress...

if you want to stand out from the rest... take out ALL ota units and use only new units otherwise this is just another unit pack.

well smoth then is absolute annihilation a unit pack :| cuz it only add some units of the ota and they call it a mod and not a unit pack

It's called a mod, since it changes the balance of all the units.

Hello,

@Zoombie:With the new units you have much more taktiks and the defends are really different too , some make really heavy single damage and much have big area damage and not all buildings can build with the same builder so you have to know what you want to build first! ;)

@Guessmyname:I thinking about to add the Monkeylord, but it will become new weapons and sounds maybe too , but hmm maybe we have to reskin it or remodels , we will see with that unit :).

@smoth:You see it wrong ;)

Unitpack=To add only new units.
TC=Total New.
So I dont add only new units , I change much in this mod, its no
more like OTA or other mods it is a new one!New selfmade
explosions,new weapons , new balancng ;) i have done much on it
so dont say its just a unit pack that piss me off a bit , sorry:)
Don´t be angry but I think I can tell all , it is a MOD ;)

Hehe by the while , my english sucks =)

Oke i will show you more info and news stuff in some days :) and maybe some dates for a Local Testing if someone want it .

Not to sound rude by the description of this mod sounds like a lot of OTHER mods i've seen for both Spring and OTA.
