This is a solution to people having to use those things to prevent com bombs! It, unlike those, will not degrade the game in any way! There is no legit reason to have your com blowing up in the enemy's base, so preventing that doesn't hamper any legit players gameplay! Where as limiting d-gun to start location and com die ends game, DOES! This is a solution to that! It isn't a HUGE HUGE problem, but it wouldn't be very hard to implement the fix, either!Kixxe wrote:Many pepole HATE com ends and Dgun limit and refuses to play it.
ME :D wrote: NO, BUT THE DEVS AREN'T FUCKING FARTING OUT MAGIC OPTIONS.
It takes time, strength and a shitload of coffe to program something "as simple" as a couple Checkboxes. Don't think this is made bye a crackteam of f higly trained programmers, this is mostly a team of 6 or so regular programmers that is likely still in collage. They are kind enougth to spend their freetime working on a free project without pay, insurance or dental.
And there are atleast a thousand more important things to do then add more options for pepole who think the com is cheaty.

I'm fed up with your whinging. Even the OTA staff said Combombing wasa legit tactic. Your arguement is now flawed. Go away.Azu wrote:This is a solution to people having to use those things to prevent com bombs! It, unlike those, will not degrade the game in any way! Well I am fed up with YOUR "whining". I made this thread with a perfectlly valid point and all you people have done is flame me without reason or logic, you have no right to be crushing my ideas just like I would have no right to go up to someone and say there map sucks ass which is basically what you are doing to my idea. This is my concept and my topic, so:Drone_Fragger wrote:fed up with your whinging

the thing is - this has prolly been discussed about 46million times since OTA first came out, the fact the game hasnt changed one bit. says that theres nothing wrong 1 bit in how chris invisioned this game being played, yes some people dont like it and want it changed.
but the people who like it/dont mind it always out weight the people who dont like it. so in that spirit - just accept it.
all your suggestions are summed up in the 2nd post on this thread, just let it be

So there never needs to be any more bug fixes or patches or anything, it is totally perfect and completed, no more work needs to be done on it..funkymp wrote:theres nothing wrong 1 bit in how chris invisioned this game being played
All of your arguments against my idea have also been summed up very early and are just being repeated as well..funkymp wrote:s are summed up in the 2nd post on this thread

2 things:
1. I'm perfectly happy to going up to a map maker and saying his map sucks ass. Namely any map that actually does suck ass. (Speedmetal, That Awful NS map called Birdflight, And NS Map involving the word "Fall")
Infact, Whoever made speedmetal should die. The map maker should be ashamed and go kill himslef for releaseing that vile creation upon this world.

[/u]Commander Jihad
In games that continue even if the Commander is destroyed, you can use your Commander's destruction to get lots of bang for your buck. While the Commander is a powerful unit, you can trade it for a lot of pain on the enemy side.
This tactic has two options: either run your Commander into the enemy base or fly him in using a transport. Hit Ctrl-D and watch the boom. Note that if your enemy has lots of air defense up, you might not be able to get in on a transport.
Even later in the game, this tactic can be used to make a hole in the enemy defensive lines for other units to follow.

Yet more flaws in the arguement.

Did you read the post? I guess not. Seeing as I even said i'll only go up to a map maker and say his map sucks ass if it actually does.Azu wrote:Wow. Remeber this? I bolded and underlined the parts you sadid and agreed with. You can't just quote something and then go on about something differant.Azu wrote:So there never needs to be any more bug fixes or patches or anything, it is totally perfect and completed, no more work needs to be done on it..funkymp wrote:theres nothing wrong 1 bit in how chris invisioned this game being played
