You need to download TA:Spring client from Here (This is 30mb) which you will install and then run "TA Spring Battleroom" from your start menu. You can play offline using AI, I am not sure on the link but some one has made a TA:Spring Skirmish program.

I use dial-up internet, and not only am I able to download spring, but I'm able to play it online and mod for it.
30 megs takes more along the lines of 2 hours to download (at a poor-average speed). What's more, using a download manager such as getright, as any veteran dial-up user must, means that you can spread your downloading out over a number of days; or even better, overnight.
Surely you couldn't expect a game like this to be just a few megabytes? It is remarkably small for what you get, and what you get out of it.
Perhaps you should stick with liero?

Liero X was just a cheap knockoff. Anyone who was involved in the first Liero community knows that. Gusanos is where it's at if you want a game totally true to the first Liero.

Don't take me wrong, Guasanos has amazing phyichs system and some cool stuff... but liero has much more exstensive multiplayer, and much more esayer to use... It has flaws to, since it's filled with combo 0% relodtime noobs and other idiots, plus it lags pretty bad... but i can't handle a program that forces me to use commmand lines and IP's to connect to internet battles. (Acully, i never figured out how to connect to internet battles.)
Don't say it sucks. Nothing sucks. But this is better.

paulicus 25, Ive got dial up just like, but I play spring without lagging (to much). Heres how. Download a decent download manager (Flashget is teh pwn http://www.flashget.com I think). Install it, its very small, and go into preferences and set it to integrate into internet explorer (if you have something else say so and I can help) and use either way. Now go into i think connection options and type in the username and password you use to connect to the internet. Now go into schedule options and set the the start time to midnight, and the end time to whenever you get up.
Got it? Now go and download spring again, flashget should automaticly open up and add sprign to its download que. Set the number of steams (or somthing I forget what its called) to 10, its the fastest. Click on a radio button "schedule" and press ok. There, your done.
If youve done everything right, your download should turn on at midnight (while your most likely sleeping) and turn off when you wake up, thus getting _ hours of downloading done while your sleeping! Should be enough to completely get spring on your computer.
This dosnt have to only be used with spring, oh no. Use it whenever you want, I schedule my downloads whenever there a few megs or more and they all turn on when im sleeping. want to download somethign 200mb?? no prob, should be doen in a few days.
