Exports in TGA format a heightmap and metal map of the ingame map. The heightmap is affected by terrain deformations though. Version 2 includes exporting of the featuremap as a TGA image and the fs.txt required by mapconv. It may also be noted that the tree features take the feature names TreeType0 ->TreeType15

The heightmap is affected by terrain deformations though.
The flipside of this is that mapmakers could use realtime terrain deformation to create new heightmaps and map types X-D

just put it in aidll folder

then load the map, and assign it to any unit.

the output files will be in the main spring folder.

the map texture is not exported, so you will have to remake it..

I dotn knwo anything about the structure of the map files themselves which I'd need to export the texture map, since the devs didnt see any reason for a groupAI to need the texture map (whereas I see plenty of ideas that'd make sue of it)
