Hi, recently started playing TA Spring, very impressive (good work!). Ive done a couple of designs for some Core building updates, just wondering if theirs information on supported texture channels (alpha transparency, environmental map etc?)and whether surface smoothing is supported (phong shader).
Ive found pretty well everything else in regards to importing/exporting, and looking to do a straight swap on some of the structures.

Ah good to see more motivated people!
As you mentioned, there are some things in texturing worth knowing.
On the texture the Alpha channel gives the team color in return. So white spaces there are replaced with the team color.
The enviorment map (second texture) uses two of the RGB channels.
Red for Light reflecting and green for enviorment reflectiong.

Also various other threads in the art partition of the forums are usefull.
Upspring (findable here: http://www.fileuniverse.com/?p=showitem&ID=2317 ) next for being a most usefull program, comes along with a tutorial that handles various things of unit making.
