Error opening files for writing when updating to .70b3

I have just downloaded the latest patch from my place of worship (FU) and when updating I get several errors with opening files to update Spring. The first error is "zlibwapi.dll", then after hitting "Ignore" it goes on for a bit and can't open "MSVCP71.dll", instantly followed by "msvcr71.dll". Ignoring this it copies more files, then can't open "TASClient.exe". It then goes on to annoy me with a problem with "unitsync.dll". Ignore this and the updater is finished, but i cant help but feel so is my Spring install...

Do I need to download the full installer and start anew?

I decided it would be easier to just download the full installer and start anew.

This thread may now be killed off for good.

it happens when the lobby is open while patching I think (at least, closing lobby and patching again worked fine here)

Didn't occur to me to close the lobby as it patched...

Damn, I could've saved myself so long if only I had thought about it...
