after entering the map stop and look at the squares try to place one king legally on the map using the up and down sides!!! lol u cant!
if you want to place white king down you cant cuz the e1 square is white and not black! nor can you place the black king down cause it would have to be then on d1 (transpositional from e8) wich is black!!! (its suppost to be white).
in my game last night i had to have the board sideways to have the squares color ok!
yet another hint to prove what i say :
go play on this map then on your map and watch the square colors , and you'll see one map is sideways towards the other.
As for chess boards colors rule it goes like this : the a1 square (lower first) must be black in order for a good piece positioning ! wich isnt in this case
