[[0.70b2] Regression - Spring.exe no more host/no more spawn

Post by Dolfhin »

In 0.70b2 when launching spring.exe it doesnt ask anymore if you want to host/join, this makes playing spring using scripts impossible in MP. Also spring.exe ignores spawn.txt for the random enemies feature, which is a shame.

So it always uses the spawn.txt from the mod?

For client/server you can pass commandline options I think, but I admit it's worse than a nice MessageBox.

I couldnt find a wiki page about the commandline options a while ago but it is good to know that it does exist.

As for using the spawn.txt included in the mod, I had no idea that mods even packed such a thing and didnt know that you could use other mods with random enemies.
