those are the models from the warhammer 40k universe... but who says I can't "mimic" them and cram them into the TA universe??

OWN? blah, I'm too into models to fart with editing a huge bitmap and trying to balance metal and junk...

I'd rather just make pretty features for everyone else to play with...

if you look at the features I've been working on.... I started LOW on polycount, and I've been working my way up... I'd rather not start on something high-poly and have it blow up on me and not work... but trust me... the features I can throw out... ummm yeah

edit: I'll shut up now, don't let me steal your topic's thunder

Sorry, Lathan.. that is a real big missunderstanding. We posted the same time... and i replied to IceXuick about Cathralda. About your Stones and the Statue on A-Gorms Map... they are awesome.. not to mention the Reffinery you got in the Pipeline. It is just when you look on the Screenys of Cathralda, that this Map nees a own kind of Tree... not the Standardsstyle Programmed in Trees. I hope you don`t really believed a noob like me, would try to bark like "Das Bruce" on an Veteran...

Allright!! who wants to design stuff for cathralda (and althora which is coming soon)... a tree, stones, ruines, debree, that fits the map...

as for the crashing.. i am working on it. (hoping the althora map doesn't crash, i should have better pathfinding (if thats the case))

if someone is wanting to create a one of the above things and mail them to me, feel free. I'm (not yet) into modelling and skinning of objects.

thx in advance!

well there's only a few of us modeling... and I think I'm the most active of the group....

smoth is pretty close... but he's working hard on his gundam stuff and he has some pretty basic buildings coming about...

here's a link to the sticky of features we have available so far...

http://taspring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4047

gimmie time and I'll have lots... it all takes time.. skinning prolly takes the longest though...

just note, we are stuck unable to make single facet forage faces with images of multiple leaves on 1 face with transparencies...

transparent textures for features aren't available yet.... sooo real "leafy" vegation isn't easy... (it takes too many facets)

okay then, cause urban and city maps aren't my favourite (nor do i have the knowledge to put it together) i started working on a Fjord / Water Map. It's more a 2 sided area with a big river thing runngin north south in the middle. The texture is coming along quite well, but it IS rendering now, and will be the coming 6 hours. Afterthat i can retouche it in PS and then add the metal map, feature map, type map.. and so forth...

I'll let you know when it's getting to completion.

IceX out.
