Shift/Ctrl and camera rotation speed

I wanted to know if anyone else noticed that when you hold down the shift key and you rotate the camera left or right (in Rotatable Overhead, anyway), it goes stupidly fast, and before I can stop, I've already spun it several revolutions and have to re-orient it to where I wanted it to by letting go of the shift key. This gets really annoying when I'm "cruising" the map, setting patrol points, or I'm building a number of buildings and need to shift my view around. Is anyone else experiencing this, or just not bothered by it? I haven't heard a peep about it since v7.x came out.

Hmmm... Is that the same as using FPS mode and every other middle click and hold seems to be ultra fast? Maybe shift has to be pressed too...
