Temporary Seperation

Post by Dragon45 »

My parents just made me wipe TA Spring off my HD, due to "low grades" (something they got fomr an inaccurate progress report and all my grades are maxed out again alright now anyway  ).

I cannot play any computer games for three months, which is when I graduate from high school (secondary school as it is known elsewhere).

what sucks most is that have been getting better every day still through practice... I'm basically going to have to start a few notches down when I get back.

No worries though, i'll kick all your asses in a few months ;)

See ya'll then in the lobby (I'll still be posting) :P

GG all...

Heh, dragon down :P

Do good in school buddy, spring is fun but it won't earn you the cash monies when you hit adulthood.

I once tried to make a program that could turn your screen output into ASCII art, with AA-lib (http://aa-project.sourceforge.net/index.html)
So I could play games at school.
Turned the idea down, since they use novell-client to monitor all screens in the room. They see my screen is small version on theirs. When ASCII art is viewed from a distance, it looks like it was normal pixels.

Alt-Tabbing still works best in a place where you don't got monitoring software.

But the idea about such radical treatment is ofcourse valid. School first, then games like Spring. Good luck!

I lost my compy for half a year due to a ridicules hard chemistry class and a incompetent teacher. But it was funny cause a day ago i was talking to my friend yesterday and...

Friend: "Man my chemistry class is really easy...its practically fourth grade chemistry"

Me: "Your not taking chem honors, right?"

Friend: "Nope...why?"

Me: "Cause when i started in chem honors we started with Quantum Theory..."

haha, it never got even in devopment stage.
(meaning I didn't even installed an enviorment to start coding)
It was just a wacky idea. But you do can watch movies in ASCII-art
VLC and Mplayer both have libcaca or aa-lib codecs.
